It has power windows, power steering, power seats, power mirrors, power sun roof, hatchback, upgraded Sony CD, factory theft system, V6 & automatic transmission. Yellow exterior with a very sleek black interior. The car runs good & cool, brakes are good & the transmission shifts very smoothly. The all black interior is very clean with the exception of a single split in the passenger seat.Things that are wrong: paint has some fading & chipping, turn indicators are not working (I have not checked the reason why, could be as simple as a fuse or bulb or could be something else?), small part in the front grill is missing which is a $30 item on ebay, a/c, spoiler missing on back.This car needs somebody to give it a little love in order to be a wanted collectors item in the future! But if you would like, you could not put a penny into the car & drive it around just the way it is with no problems.

My grandpa is selling his 1997 Mercury Cougar XR7 coupe and is having me put it up for him (he doesn't own a computer). He is moving out of state and needs to get rid of the car before doing so. He has babied this car and driven it very carefully since he has owned it. The car is in excellent condition except for a small rust spot behind the front left tire. It drives and feels like a new car. He is asking below Kelly Blue Book value for the car for a quick sale. The car is in Antioch, IL, and shipping or pickup will be the buyer's responsibility.
